Emotional Gathering for Parents and Sponsors of 2nd-Year Confirmation Candidates

In an atmosphere of deep reflection and closeness, on Wednesday, August 12, at 6:00 p.m., the meeting for parents and sponsors of the second-year Confirmation group took place in our school's chapel.

The session saw a massive turnout that completely filled the chapel, reflecting the commitment and support of the families in this meaningful step. The activity was led by teacher Óscar Cruz and Sisters Carol García and Pilar Rodríguez, with special participation from Deacon Ignacio Salazar.

During the meeting, the central focus was the commitment young adults embrace as Christians when freely and maturely confirming their faith, as well as the positive changes expected in their lives through the valuable guidance of their families and sponsors. In his address, Deacon Ignacio Salazar emphasized the importance of a sense of belonging and remaining active within the Church after receiving the sacrament.

This gathering is part of the final stage of preparation for the 27 students from our school who will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation on August 28, thereby reaffirming their faith and their calling to serve the community.
