In an atmosphere of deep faith and community joy, on Wednesday, August 26, the Solemn Eucharist of Recognition of the 2026 Albertian Spirit was celebrated at the San José Parish.

The Holy Mass was presided over by our Diocesan Bishop, Monsignor Tomislav Koljatic, who in his homily highlighted the ongoing relevance of Saint Alberto Hurtado’s thought and work. Likewise, the ecclesiastical authority emphasized the legitimate pride felt by parents and guardians upon seeing their children receive this meaningful distinction, which embodies and bears witness to the core values of our patron saint, such as solidarity, service, and fraternity.

It was an unforgettable day, filled with emotion and a deep sense of belonging for the families, teachers, and leadership teams who accompanied the awardees in this important liturgical ceremony.
