ALBERTIAN STUDENTS: MENTAL MATH SPEED

During the month of July, the intermediate EFMA assessment was conducted—an evaluation designed to measure students' speed and accuracy in mental math calculations. The test gives students from 1st to 8th grade two minutes to solve as many addition and subtraction problems as possible, as well as multiplication problems for students from 4th to 8th grade.

Across the different grade levels, several students reached the "Automated" category by correctly answering every single question assigned to their grade. In recognition of their effort and dedication, they received a medal to reward their hard work and inspire their classmates.

The recognized students are:

From 1st Grade A (1°A): Luis Acevedo, Rebeca Belmar, Tomás Canales, Bastián Contreras, Benjamín Espinoza, Alonso Lagos, Emiliano Pereira, Felipe Retamal, Santiago Riveros, Mateo Sáez, Max Vargas, and Trinidad Zúñiga.
From 1st Grade B (1°B): Martín Gutiérrez, Lucas Rojas, and Santiago Vargas.
From 4th Grade A (4°A): Baltazar Acevedo.
From 4th Grade B (4°B): Renato Caro and Santiago Sepúlveda.
From 6th Grade A (6°A): Tomás Lara.
From 7th Grade A (7°A): Javier Gutiérrez.
From 7th Grade B (7°B): Renato Villena.
From 8th Grade A (8°A): Misael Cáceres, Felipe González, Jorge Loyola, and Nicolás Pincheira.
